Google Books as Reference Tool

When Reference Universe, the CCPL Catalog, and other CCPL Research Tools are not working and Inter Library Loan is not an option because of time Google Book's vast collection of scanned library books is a great source for the obscure and hard to find information on specific topics. Google Book's is particularly useful when patrons are required to find monograph sources on topics we may not heavily collect in such as hippotherapy in great depth or say primary sources on Marie Antoinette's wedding (two that I could find). Sometimes, it requires doing a screen capture and then printing that captured screen. Bottom line, when used within reason, Google Book is another great tool in the tool shed so to speak.
