Today, I stumbled upon criminal searches.com which is free, although not comprehensive, it provides traffic convictions in many jurisdictions, like failure to use a seat belt to serious felony offenses in various locations, but the database is far from complete and various concerns about data usage, privacy, and errors of omission are possible. When looking for famous folks with criminal convictions, I did find a few, but many did not come up that I would have anticipated... Overall, although not comprehensive, it is a website that does not charge for initial around the country searching for individual criminal convictions. The ability to plug in a street address and then look for residents at that address for criminal convictions can be problematic as data may not always match up correctly. This is a tool for use with wide spread cautions.
