Databases in the News...

Greetings. It has been a while since my last post, but I wanted to say that there are more database overviews coming to this blog as there are new products on the website and one at the Main library. What is exciting are several things that are currently available now on http://www.ccpl.org/ . Amanda has already blogged about the new Small Business Resource Center and Demographics Now. There are some of the new DISCUS databases that I have already blogged about being: Nursing Resource Center, Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center, Educator's Reference Center and an update to History Resource Center: US.

In the next few days, I hope to post content on History Resource Center: World, Book Review Index Online, Science Resource Center, and the new WestLaw database available at Main -- which is rather a time saving resource for finding content and in many situations would not be available in the library in print form. With three database trials still going on, it may be a few more days before the next blog post goes up again. - Steven S.
