Science Resource Center
Science Resource Center is a database that can capture the mind and imagination of even those who don't follow all the intricacies of science. Generally speaking the book and many magazine sources in the resource center will provide explanations in practical terms. And when even a term is in doubt, the Meriiam Websters Collegiate Dictionary usually does the trick in explaining a science term. There is also the Cengage Gale Science Glossary, which at first glance seems to provide basic to advanced science terms, but not a whole lot of content yet in the glossary. Overall my impressions of this database are positive, I'm so glad we have this part of the DISCUS package, and content does not seem overwhelming to those who are not well versed in Science.
