Sport Illustrated Vault has 53 years worth of the Sports Illustrated (SI) magazine issues currently available online for free. The content comes in various formats in articles, magazine covers, video clips and galleries. In reading BeSpacific, I stumbled onto the SI website this afternoon. I found what I was looking for being Ron Santo's picture on the cover of a June 30th, 1969 issue of SI and Ryne Sandberg making the cover in 1992. By the way, the Chicago Cubs baseball team is facing a rather long draught of not winning the world series: 100 years and counting.
